Indoor Wall Mounting: Use self adhesive sticky pads supplied (you may need to supplement the supply provided). Alternative methods; i) double sided tape (not supplied); ii) adhesive (e.g. No More Nails – not supplied); iii) *wall screws [*ONLY TO FLAT SURFACES – ON UNEVEN SURFACES FIRST GLUE TO A FLAT BACKBOARD ] Wall screws are not supplied – drill mirrors and fix with proprietary mirror fixing kits available from DIY outlets. Outdoor Wall Mounting: Extra care is required when mounting a mirror on an outside wall. As a general rule, we believe that a good quality adhesive will work better than screws, it is our preferred outdoor wall fixing method. We recommend that if the wall surface is uneven that the mirror/s be first mounted onto a flat (weather resistant – outdoor spec.) wooden back board. 1) If you damage the edge of the mirror while mounting, the part that is damaged may develop a weakness to environmental factors and the mirror foil may start to peel making the mirror unusable. 2) Temperature gradients and warping: Locations where the plastic mirror is subject to large fluctuations of temperature (direct sunlight / followed by cold) may cause the backing plastic to warp and the foil and protective films to delaminate which will damage your mirror. 3) Directly mounting the mirrors on uneven surfaces such as wood clinker board may result in warping which will severely damage the mirrors. Outdoor life: Mirrors are reasonably resistant to the weather, longevity is circumstance and location dependent, more sheltered spots are preferable. Salt water, strong winds, extremes of temperature will shorten the useful outdoor life.
